This Week's Activities

These are the activities this week for adults with developmental disabilities:

Monday, December 1, starting at 5:00 PM.  Aktion Club in the Dining Room at the Douglas County Community Center

Tuesday, December 2.  CERAMICS IS CANCELLED.  Sorry, but your host (that's me) has an appointment that she cannot miss.   

Wednesday, December 3, from 3:00 to 4:30 PM.  Art Class in the Ceramics Room at the Douglas County Community Center.

Thursday, December 4, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.  Builders Workshop in the Craft Room at the Douglas County Community.  In addition to LEGO and Lincoln Logs, this week we will begin a 3 week woodworking project, making something that will be a great Christmas gift for someone you know.  I'm not saying what it is in print because someone you know may be reading this, and I don't want to spoil a good surprise.  After Christmas, we will be doing more woodworking projects which you can keep or sell at the Craft Fair next year.  We thank local woodworker, Greg Lynn, for his help putting these projects together.

Friday, December 5 from 9:00 AM to noon. Friday Morning Activities at the Douglas County Community Center.  We will be doing a mix of puzzles, games, art, and sports.  Our First Friday Movie this month is The Polar Express, starting at 10:15.
